Corton
The pretty, round hill of Corton is the stuff of dreams, home to the famous Corton-Charlemagne vineyards and the only red grands crus in the Côte de Beaune. The latter benefit from an exceptional climate, facing east and with no combe effect, the grapes ripen perfectly at harvest time.
Aloxe-Corton
A topographically well-placed premier cru from Aloxe-Corton, below the Corton ‘Bressandes’ Gd. cru and next to the Cortons ‘Paulands’ Gd. cru.
Pernand-Vergelesses
This is the finest climate in Pernand-Vergelesses, which is why it is called Île, as the best of a whole. It's an exceptional terroir, situated mid-slope facing east, composed of ferrous clay and high-quality limestone with a fine slope that drains well. The result is a wine with a spicy aroma, powerful and mineral on the finish, with refreshing notes of salt and iodine.
